COFFEE....... ha ha.

SO my wife and I received our PPR on July 11th. What is the next step for us?

Did they send any further document requests or medical furtherance, etc?
If not, just a matter of waiting and hopefully not too long.

We send in my wife's Medical Exam at the beginning of the app. The only this they had asked was a ppr questionnaire. She is Japanese so she didnt have to send in her physical passport. Any idea about the timeframe on this may be?

I don't really know with the Japanese office how long they take. I think after the PPR they would go through the security clearances if they are needed. If you don't need any or those are all done then hopefully not too long. A few people in Manila recently took about 1 and a half to 2 months to get everything completed after the PPR request and no police clearances needed.

One of the more veteran members can probably give you a better answer.

This is inappropriate. Sexism along with racism and other isms will not be tolerated here. I will report this to the moderators and I encourage other people with CANADIAN values that promote EQUALITY to do the same.

You can start here:

https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/

If your app is in the second stage you will need a scan of a signed consent form from the applicant if you are the sponsor

So I've been emailing back and forth with my MP's office and they've basically encouraged me not to file a complaint saying that if I wanted to I could but it likely wouldn't do any good and that it would be best to do so after the finalization of the application. Seriously.

Filing a complaint after the application has been processed does no good. Filing the complaint now means it escalates the review of the application which I think is something that you seriously need. The MP probably doesn't want to have any negative interactions with anyone. I encountered that in the office of the Liberal MLA here in Winnipeg. They said its best not to make waves.....what the fook is that for advice? I told her that the wave I intend to make is a tidal one.

Thanks Steph,

Is there a cost to accessing the notes?

Yeah Tagum. So many poor are kind as well. I've met the rich.. Two or three of them anyways. The ladies doing their daily shopping at Bread Talk in Ayala Mall who always take the time to butt in front of me rudely.. The lady in the Manila airport who wouldn't allow me to sit to eat after I asked nicely because her purse was sitting in that last chair. They don't take time to be nice to foreigners. I feel sorry for their kids, so spoiled and obese because the parents never deny them anything that they ask for. Good thing that Canada can open its doors freely to them. Otherwise they may never feel humbled in their lives.

I've always tried to keep this thread interesting with colourful conversation.. That's the way to keep it current :) a never ending saga indeed.

Thanks guys for keeping me entertained on my work break.. I need food for thought in the boring hours.

Lets start an exchange program. Send a poor kid to a rich house for 2 weeks and rich kid to a poor house. This will make the world a better place indeed.
