I remember a short while back after talking to the MPs office I posted:

I am hoping now that she doesn't know what she is talking about and that it may actually be close to done now. After all, she also told me that my wife HAS to take the COA seminar. I said I thought that was optional but according to her it is mandatory. Well, I checked the embassy site and it IS optional. So I hope she is as wrong about by future timeline as she was about that.

Well, all I can say is I am thankful the MPs office was clueless!

Also I noticed Cokiesweet from June 2012 also got DM. I'm wondering if maybe they are trying to clear out some of the people stuck from the older months. There have been a lot of PPRs for newer apps but that seems about it. Not many newer apps are going IP it seems.

My guess when the strike took affect was that the reduced staff would focus on all the oldest applications and not start on any new ones. That would make the most sense to me.

We got our DM early this morning (or was that late last night?). Got all excited and texted my wife to let her know. She is all excited now too.

But since then worry has set in. They only say "Decision Made" and no visa has appeared yet so technically the decision can go either way. I know it can take a few days to a week for the visa to be sent but that doesn't stop the worry. You know they should really tell you at the time they announce "Decision Made" just what that decision is. It's like they enjoy messing with people.

Meanwhile GCMS Part II is chugging along... Can't wait to see what it says.

Well, they have been PPRing the newer apps (some getting PPR after only 150-160 days after SA, far faster than ours). But that is also good way to pause an app. Ask for info then wait till the bring forward (ball is in your court...). Looks better than letting them sit. But it looks like once they do get PPR, they sit...

Yup, got our PPR 150 days after our SA. Exciting, but then again, how long will they hold the app and keep us waiting? I just hope they process all the older apps first, then work forward. (did i make any sense?)

Also, is there like a set or average bring forward date that they put on applications? I've yet to pester my husband to order our GCMS notes.

I think it's usually 45 days? I'm just going by memory here but 45 days rings a bell

Does anyone get any letter for additional documents with 4 recent passport photos (taken within last 3 months) from NVDO? If you get it please let me know the size of the photo.
