Seems these two are really pushing with the media to be given special status. I hope they don't get it. It would be bad enough if they merely wanted to be bumped up in the processing queue. But they haven't even got the residency requirement to apply for citizenship yet! So they want the rules we all have to work by waved in their case.

As far as I'm concerned, let her skate for the US (if she can). There should be no "special favors" granted. We sure as hell get none.

I don't know if it just me or not, but the fooking country seems to have a lot of people who seem to think the rules are for everyone else, except them.

I know. Sports are important. Family isn't. That's the society we live in. Everyone is treated equally (read: we are all criminals who want to commit marriage fraud so no matter how legitimate our marriage is we have to wait and wait and beg and beg) until someone who can win a medal in some BS international competition applies. Those people always jump to the front of the line.

filled out the online ATIP-AIPRP application to get my GCMS notes a month ago and yay guess what i got today..... a F000king scanned copy of my sponsorship evaluation IMM1283 .... like seriously WTF

Did you ask for a copy of your electronic notes or a scanned copy of your physical file? There's 2 options.

Wow can't wait to see what I get, I asked for an electronic copy. But I am not holding my breath for anything. I do however have a date to see my MP Tuesday. ;D time to damn the torpedoes
