I have been a lurker to this thread and i must say u guys are hilarious. Its always so much fun reading ur posts especially wen steph was a regular. But anyway, enough with the ball lice and stuff. I need ur help.
As u can see in my timeline, my ecas has displayed in process since june 13. But on june 18, I received an email from CPCM asking for an additional fee of 75 for our dependent (sponsor was supposed to pay 150 for our baby but mistakenly ticked the other dependent fee option which was 75). Now i dont have any idea how long this will delay our visa. Anyone have a say on this? Im worried because Iv already booked a ticket for jul24.
And by the way, what's an MP. Im curious maybe he can help us but I have no idea how's that. Thanks everyone!

Oh and we've paid the 75 on that day as ordered by officer LHU and mailed the receipt to her. He/She received it the following day as per tracking updates.

If you have paid the fee and submitted the copy of the receipt to CEM then you may also want to include that you have tickets booked. Personally I don't know why people book flights prior to receiving their COPRs. Anything can happen to delay things and as far as I know there can be 45 days or more between reviews of your file.

An MP is a Member of Parliament. He/She is your elected representative at the federal government level.

Hi CJG I just want to ask. CEM requested my passport on may 17 and send it the next day but without my RPRF photocopy receipt my lawyer pay it on may 27 and email it to CEM. But get worried so i send another copy via courier in CEM on June 21. You think it will delay the process?

If it's booked I wouldn't worry quite yet, I think you'll be fine. You can worry when it's less than a week away.

Hard to say really but I would take Truesmile's advice. As long as you can rebook the flight with no penalty.

Not a good idea to resend things CEM does not ask for. It could delay it while they figure out if you have paid twice for it. Best case scenario is that they think you paid twice and refund your RPRF .
