My wife got 2 in preparation for the PPR (1 for our files) and then wasn't asked for it when the PPR came.
Oh no! It's like everything in your application is not as expected.

They didn't send us anything back! Just the Visa and a letter. He hasn't been super coherent since the visa showed up so I'm not really sure what all was in that envelope.

got our cenomar from that site too before getting married, and realized later on, it was very expensive. got my AOM thru SM Business Center, same price if you go directly to NSO, just an addtl 20Php I think for the service fee. I ordered 5 before we sent the application ;D

I think it would be for the applicant not the sponsor.. but it will say both names I think?

yes, I got it a few months ago when I learned that it's needed. I also got one for my husband.. we are both Filipino so I got his too, so when needed it's already available.

LOL.. told my husband I think I need to get some jeans and sweaters too. then he said, we'll just buy there. and then i've read, it's more expensive there. i didn't argue anymore, thought it'll be a good excuse to go shopping once i landed ;D

Nooo! Buy your jeans in the Philippines. It's like shopping heaven for small people with short legs. You can get a pair for $12. Jeans in Canada can cost $100. And you will always have the extra expense of hemming the legs because they make them so long. Then for the other items, convince him to shop in the outlet malls in the US :D

it contains both names but I think it doesn't show for example, if your husband married another woman. it will be provided only in the husband's AOM.
