Hi Heather....STILL waiting eh? Aye carumba. Since you're not technically over the stated 14 month processing time for Manila I'm not sure they would view your visa situation as "overdue" & just how much your MP can do. We're over a month heading to two now too after returning passports to CEM, very frustrating wait that's for sure! (As Jan 2014 applicants we probably technically can't gripe until March 2015, unfathomable to think it could really take that long.) Hang tough is all we can say right now.

Thanks everyone for the advice. I emailed Manila and the reply back was that we are currently queued for review. Not sure what that means?? I guess we just keep waiting

Why does it sound like an interview? The email said 'queued for review', sounds pretty much like the application is in due process. From the Excel sheets following Manila applicants it seems like interviews don't really happen much anymore.

Agreed. Queued for review does not mean you're going to be interviewed. It means exactly that, i.e. it's in line to be reviewed by a visa officer, which is a normal part of the process.

My mistake, I misread it. I thought she said "interview", not "review. Anyway, I'm deleting that.

HI Guys any september 2013 aplicants? Ive been waiting for like 12 months now havent receive any updates from cem manila.my ppr was last may 13 and my medical has already been expired last july 30 2013.im really frustrated right now,i dont know whats happening on our application,i tried to email them last month after my medical got expired and i received an email back that my application is on que for review.. whats more frustrating is i saw on the cic website that the processing for applications here in manila have changed and its already 15 months.before its just 14 months... by the way im under conjugal sponsorship.

Conjugal has lowest priority. We just have to be patient unfortunately. We're in the same situation, except they haven't answered our lawyers email yet Hang in there, hopefully by Christmas.

Hi...we have similar case, ours applied Aug. 8,2013, meds done upfront June 10, 2013, SA approved Sept. 4, 2013, PPR May 15, 2014, until now ECAS shows apps received and meds result received. Reply from email apps still queued for review. Meds expired already but no reply got in following up for any notice from them if we will have a redo of our meds...

It's very stressing and we're worried about our passports, it's nearly 4 mos with them...

It is not normal for the Manila VO to keep passport for 4 months. Perhaps you should send an email to them telling them you are worried about your passport since you mailed it 4 months ago.

Seems like TWO months is already the longest they would hold passports, no? We're at about 6 weeks & getting a bit freaked when looking at others getting visa a week or two after sending in passport. C'mon already!

We sent the passport 40 days ago, so we share your frustration. However, I'm not sure where you saw others getting visa within 2 weeks of sending the passport. According to the Manila VO Spreadsheet, those who applied in February and March have received passport request but not visa (except for couple of people). Things seem to have slowed down at the Manila VO.

This week they didn't even update the status of the applications.....
No new DM since September 1st....
NO new passport requests since maybe second week of August....

But what someone is doing is AOR2... that is something that they did not do before....

Maybe the Visa Officer took vacations and nobody is taking over.... Who knows what is going on there....

meanwhile we keep waiting and waiting...
hopefully when they update we will have our passports back and the waiting will be over...

Slowed down? That's an euphemism! I would rather say completely stopped. Nothing happened in the last 2 weeks for anybodys case.
I'm running out of words to say to my wife to cheer her up. She is losing her patience and Im also getting tired of being left in darkness.

Hear you Edgehead, this is getting VERY stressful. Hopes were up when we got PPR, then In Process & now ..... nothing! Aye carumba.
