Wife got a call from DHL a few hours ago, pick up package in Lipa, Batangas. (Closest DHL outlet I guess)
Bring ID and 995 pesos we have a package for you.
VISA IN HAND Issued June 4,2014. Validity July 13,2014.
Now to book flights and hotel for the quick trip.
To those still waiting, yours will come no doubt.

Thats awesome news Step! Congratulations to you and your wife. When they say validity is July 13th, does that mean she wont' be coming until mid July? Anyways my friend, congrats to the both of you, i know its been a long wait and finally its over.

Your time will come too my friend, it seems to move slow but once CIC sets their mind to it they can actually process very fast.
As JGM613 posted ,VISA only valid for a set time, must be used by that date.
You should be hearing back very soon.

Thats really great news to hear Step, 8 months is an awfully long time for a husband and wife to be apart and I know that the its now worth the wait. Keep us all posted on your experiences, you've always been a person we can turn to for advice and encouragement on hear as we all wait.

Well, 14 months is much longer than 8 months. So if it really just takes 8 months, we would all be happy with that. Sadly, it takes over a year for many of us.

Our app took about 10 months to process.Went back for a visit the reason 8 months apart.

Yes VISA will coincide with medical anniversary. ( unless meds are extended.)

Thats good to know JGM613, thanks! Ours has been inprocess since june 3rd, nothing heard yet, still waiting and the wife is getting impatient with this last bit of waiting. Hopefully we'll hear something soon.

You guys are close to the end also...it wont go on for much longer..so...hang in there...I KNOW its a LOUSY experience..the waiting...the endless wondering..and what I found the MOST frustrating....being IGNORED by CEM when we did have legitimate questions...we didnt bother them with repeated inquiries..thats what really pissed me off the most...and thats why I started writing MPs!
