Got my visa today.. Yeah.. They want to make people fly with the wind.. I booked tickets this early morning on expedia online, then rushed to CEM to pick up my visa. 3 hours of sleep is not enough.. But worth it! My flight is on Oct 2. I'm under the FC1 category.. What does it mean?

Can anyone help me out with this. I was contacted by the Manila VO a few days ago asking for another Criminal Background Check for my wife's PR application. She's Korean and we are now living in Canada, so I have to arrange to have someone in Korea do the check for her and then send it UPS to Manila.

I emailed the Manila VO and asked them to confirm their a courier address. They sent me this

I have 3 questions;

1. Is the "1200" in the address the zip code?
2. Is there a state/province in Philippine addresses?
3. Does anyone know if there is a phone number for courier purposes there? The email from CIC didn't provide one.

I ask this because I had a lot of experience using UPS when we lived in Korea and know that they are very picky about ensuring that all boxes on their shipping slips be completed before accepting an item, particularly the phone number. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Will my wife (from visa exempt country) have trouble entering Canada with a one way ticket? She's in the final stages (I think as she sent appendix a form in last month). I'll be with her and she will have about $10,000 with her plus she has ties to Japan (bank account, etc).

I stupidly bought two one way tickets for us not thinking this might be a problem.

Filipino buffets! I had to google that one, and I saw there's 12 Filipino restaurants in Winnipeg??! We have a measly one restaurant here.. it's new. It would be nice if it were a buffet!
