My wife just me that someone on the Facebook forum just got a PPR on Aug 23rd. So some turtle is still working away there

It's amazing how little activity seems to squeak through.. it's a little sadistic because it just gives you guys a tiny bit of hope.. hate to watch everybody suffer like that

just got appendix a email.
no pp request bc my wife is japanese.
also came with a photo appendix b .but im not going to include photos bc it does not say so and we have no kids or additional people. also i decided not to put my info on it.
did anyone do it like me and get to the next step?

We got the same letter in July. This is your PPR, but Japanese citizens dont have to send in the physical passport. We sent extra pictures in with ours just to be safe.

CIC went on strike shortly after, so we have been in limbo waiting since.

exactly... my wife keeps asking me to check ecas etc.... The PPR request should be soon for us hopefully. But it seems like it will take at least 2 months after that now. Those pigs she bought for he lechon party are going to be HUGE

Sorry, but what is appendix A? My common law is Japanese and we didn't receive anything. Our ecas changed to in-process in July.

Sorry to hear about your extremely drawn out process. Your patience is an example for the rest of us.

Appendix A is a form you fill out in the event you want to add any children to your application.

They should be your children of course......you just can't go around grabbing any old bunch of kids just hanging about.

Has anyone heard of not receiving an email? (Besides them sending it to a wrong address)

yes,,,,,its not uncommon to NOT get doc request,,,,,,,everyone has already filled out appendix A originally in the application

reading your posts made me smile..that's so cute.. lechon from the Visayas region is soooo good. THE BEST. so excited to go home and have some lechon dipped in vinegar with garlic.yummmm

Oh now that's smart! Raise your own pigs during the application process! If they are really huge she can just have one for Christmas.
