Actually the in the main Tagalog thread about a month ago there was a wave of emails to various people about the COA and everyone was wondering what it was and why they were getting it (some people even had visas already). It turns out it is just an orientation seminar and unlike the CFO seminar is completely voluntary. My wife will be skipping it as I think most people are.
Yeah I got an email about the COA the day of his flight and almost lost my shit. Seeing an email from CEM is always nerve wracking and I thought we had forgotten something.

Yeah !!!! We caught 4 crabs. 1 Dungeness and 3 red rock. And enough Pacific Ball Lice to serve in garlic butter as an appetiser. I think they're called Coon Shrimp around here.

I also caught 3 giant Dungeness, all girls. They were big ladies, had to throw them back.. he cooked the keepers up in Coconut with squash and beans and the whole family enjoyed a crab feed and Red Horse which I found in the liquor store ($3 for a 500ml a can!!! ouch!)

We are going back today! He is hooked on crab fishing. We are expanding our empire. More traps.. and this time we will bring 2 kayaks not 1 to place the traps far off the dock.

I'm sure there is a National Geographic reality show somewhere in your future.

There's so many regs here. Provincial controls lakes, federal controls ocean. We need a saltwater license to harvest anything including shellfish, it's about 30 plus there are add ons like a salmon sticker is $7 it's more complicated than getting ur CFo sticker. If we wanted to fish from the lake the license would be an additional $40.

If a crab gets a sexually transmitted disease do they call it "humans"?

Crab#1: You know I finally got lucky with that sexy little mollusk on reef 5.

Crab#2: You lucky fooker. I've been dying to get a pincer in her shell....

Crab#1: I dunno how lucky I was. The next day my gonopods were itching like crazy and when I took a closer look I was covered in humans.

Crab#2: Geez that really sucks. Whatcha do about it?

Carb#1: I went to see the doctorpus and he gave me a cream and told me to refrain from unprotected shelling for 6 to 8 weeks.
