Didn't know they had Kokanee in your neck of the woods. Moose says it tastes a bit weak. Hard to wean him off his Red Horse.

I had it first time in the officer's mess on the HMCS Saskatchewan when it was visiting Australia for their Bicentenary. A good time was had by all.

I'm off to the airport. Be back in a few days. :D :D :D

right....that's why I was so pissed when I was talking to CIC. They made my wife do an ultrasound and she was 3 months pregnant. When I found out I was ready to kill someone. They claimed they put two lead vest over her stomach. When my wife asked what happened if my wife refused to do the x-ray, they said she would need to wait until the baby was born and do it then before we applied. Now, if they take too long, the medical would be worthless anyways.
[/quote

Oh my!! So afraid to risk a baby!! And that is why we still cant have a baby because of this waiting game... Cannot have my medical done if Im pregnant, would not risk my baby if pregnant, cant travel if on due month, Cant redo medical if pregnant (for the long processing times) and have to wait until the birth of baby then additional waiting game.. Jaw drop.. ???

So on Friday wifey went to the CFO seminar and got the certificate. Unlike the terrible tales I've heard she said it was pretty uneventful. They asked for only what they said on the website (even though I gave her everything they MIGHT ask for). The questions were light, and the seminar was ok. She said the only worry she had the whole day was that she wouldn't be in the first 15. As it turned out, there were only 10 that day including herself.

So one less thing to do. Now she is starting on organizing what to pack.

Good to hear scos. Did she do it in Manila or Cebu? I heard the Manila one is a little less strict than the one in Cebu.

She did it in Manila.

Had to come up for air.

So my wife's landing in Vancouver was painless. She said that 90% of her PAL flight was Filipino families all landing. Her interview was 3 questions: What is your purpose for visiting Canada today? What is the address in Canada you will be staying at and how did you meet your husband? C'est toute.....that's it.

Flight from Vancouver to Winnipeg was nothing and all the people waiting at the terminal were Filipinos....just me and another guy about my age were the only white guys there. ;D ;D

A very happy reunion and the 8 months since we last were together are just a distant memory. I go back to work tomorrow which sucks but she needs to get herself moved into the house and she will want to change stuff around and I would only be in her way for that.

Now the adventure truly begins.

HAHAHA! Totally hear you. If I ever make it home for lunch and she's cleaning, oh wow! Am I ever "in her way". : )
