Steph's situation had almost ever hurdle you could imagine. What she has had to learn in order to see it through successfully is invaluable. For those that will come after her they will benefit from her experience.

Sometimes i wonder why applicants are upset only 2-3 months into this,,,,but when i sit and think of all the things that happened to others and my application they should be,,,,,everything you can imagine has gone wrong,,,lost documents,,,,applications not opened,,,,mail taking 2months to deliver,,,,,not requested docs after months,,,,etc etc. So if you have a way to contact CIC or CEM do it. Dont wait, that only postpones your visa.

I agree. There comes a point when being patient doesn't help you anymore. If everyone who has not had their application go "In Process" after 6 months started applying pressure to their MP then maybe the government would have to reconsider the slashing job they did to the VO's.

Lol.... Hey scos did you hear from pal on the immigrant discount? I have been looking at yvr and yyz arrivals to see what the "direct" flight is like regarding times .. It has been on time the last couple of trips

Not yet. I might have to try another email address. I sent it to the customer service in Manila.

Clicked on the PAL site and got a pop up message that says they are cancelling flights to and from Davao due to a Cebu Pacific Airlines flight overshooting the runway at Davao Airport.

To handle the passengers they are switching to wide body aircraft for its General Santos-Manila flights.

Apparently Davao will reopen tonight at 8pm (so presumably is has already reopened) and PAL flights will resume from there.

It was closed on Sunday June 2nd at 7pm. It affected 9 PAL flights due to the runway being obstructed.
