Lawrence Toet M.P., Michael MacKenzie and Jason Kenney Minister of Immigration,

Re:Mr./Mrs.CJG
F000000000K

I am writing again with a further update to the continuous mishandling of the sponsorship application for my wife Mrs.CJG. From the very beginning of this process there has been nothing but lost documents and delay after delay after delay. I have been patient and I have been understanding but this last incident is enough.

My wife, as requested by CEM, made an appointment with Dr. Marte at the IOM in Makati May 6th 2013. The appointment was to consist of a chest X-ray and an interview. May 23rd my with receives a call from CEM wondering where the results of that appointment are. Why are her results sitting at Dr. Marte's office for 17 days? Why do they sit there until CEM has to go looking for them? Why is Dr. Marte and the IOM permitted to operate as a medical panel for Canadian Immigration if they have no impetus to expedite medical results back to the Embassy? Does this clinic actively delay transferring results when anything but full remeds are requested? Certainly seems to be the case.

On the 6th of May 2013 I emailed the offices of Lawrence Toet, Michael MacKenzie at CEM and Minister Kenney's office and informed all that my wife's medicals had been completed. My expectation was that someone at CEM would actively get the results from the IOM and that either my MP's office or the Minister's office would follow up. No one did anything.

Need I remind you that Canada is a democracy and a democratic government works for the people not the other way around. I have paid $1000's of dollars more and waited months longer then originally expected from the information posted on CIC's website as of May 2012 when our application was filed. I pay for this service. I do not get it free because I'm a Canadian citizen, voter and taxpayer.

I fully expect a reply from CEM, Lawrence Toet and Minister Kenney this next week as to why they think this is an acceptable way to treat people who have followed all the requirements as published by CIC.

Sincerely,
CJG

She will email the second they arrive. Then I will go to the Filipino travel agent here and try to find the cheapest flights. They I have to go to work and beg. Then I have to fill out all the "special leave" forms and get those approved.
I guess I would go for the week and then we would come back together. Both times I have gone direct through Vancouver there has been a 4 hour lay over for the connecting flight. I would imagine we would do her landing there.

Yeah, she will have to 'land' at the first point of entry. It's nice for her that you're coming to get her :D

Ya. I can't really afford it but I don't want to miss her reactions to her new country. She will have to get a job a lot sooner than I would have liked. :(

I'm still waiting to hear my wife's report on St. Raphael. The prices look ok. I've been checking all over the place for a good deal.

I even considering hiring a ship but that didn't go so well... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_EfW9znJYjw

I love Blackadder but I'm so sick of those birds who have regular bowel movements.

Jeep Guy, there's nothing wrong with sticking her on a plane. The only thing you will miss is her reactions at Customs. You could even meet her in YVR. She's not some little village girl who never traveled out of her province before.. she's educated and smart. I think she can handle it!

Its 550.00 pesos to leave the country.... as per her flight... Korean Airlines.... from Manila... to Seoul... then a first class ticket to Toronto VIA Air Canada...2 hr lay over then on the plane to Toronto..one way 1300.00 lands June /13/2013....Take care everyone.... hope life works out for you all... and Dan from Surry..its close... I check everyday to see for your PPR....

It's a great price. Somehow I thought she was in Canada already.

Ya. You are right. She lived and worked in Dubai for a year and a half. Maybe its more for me. We haven't had a lot of moments that we share together. I also feel somewhat guilty for taking her away from her parents. It gives them the piece of mind that we are leaving together.

They are off to Batangas this weekend. I think her family know that it may be a few years before we can get back for a good long vacation.
