I have never been to the Phil's, met wifey on this side of the pacific, she was here on a LMO, dated, got close, got married then we thought it would be faster to send her home, so she could gather up her little guy, and the two of them come back together, instead of doing her from here, and then her son seperately.

Ummm, that didn't turn out quite as planned, and during the time we have been locked in the revolving door or bureaucratic bull*censored word*, processing has gone from 9 to 14 months.

So I have been here, supporting them back there. Not much of a life for any of us right now, but it is what it is, the only bright spot is one day this will be over, for the love of god please let it end sooner than later!

Processing time was 7 months when I submitted our application. In a year it has doubled. So when I'm told that I'm still well within the processing time I tell them that their processing time is irrelevant if applications that have been submitted well after mine have already been approved and finalized. I will wait a year so long as everyone who applied after me waits a year too.

Yeah when I started looking into the whole visa process , I seemed to remember it was 7 months too. Which was about a year ago....
