Hi guys, thank you i found this thread well im rellay planning to submit an application for my partner were F2F from the philippines. But I am hesitating because im not sure if maapprove. Because kkadating ko lang last june2015. Pero sobrang hirap na kasing mawalay sakanya so im planning to sponsor her as PR naman na aq. What doyou think guys? Do I still need to wait or pwede q na ba sya makuha? Please advice. Salamat.

Not really sure about this pero I think as long as PR ka pwede naman. Kakasubmit lang din namin ng partner ko but spousal kasi kami. We initially thought of common law/conjugal but our lawyer advised against it e kaya we got married in New Zealand. Anyway hintay nalang kami since kakasubmit lang namin ng November. I think as long as strong yung mga proof na maipapakita niyo pwede naman. Kaya lang yun lang kasi ang hirap talaga pag conjugal but there's no harm in trying naman e. Hope a senior member or other members ng forum will give you an answer too.

Hi Elijah019, maaprove naman siya basta mapatunayan nio lang na genuine ang relationship nio.. Gano na kayo katagal?.. Nagsama ba kau sa pinas na parang live in partner?.. Kasi kung nagsama kayo ng mahigit 1yr sa iisang bahay pede na kayong mag apply as common law partners kung hindi naman pede kayo sa conjugal.. Pede mo narin simulan ngayon na mag gather ng mga proofs at start ka na mabasa sa CIC website pano procedure.. i pm'd you d2, you can also message me sa facebook para mas madali ako makareply..

I am currently in a work permit status but will pass my PR application once I recieved my work permit extension maybe sa May or June.
Guys ano ba magandang way para makuha ko GF ko?
Ipasa ko ba yung PR application ko with her documents or wait ko muna magPR ako before ko siya sponsoran?

Good Morning,

I would like to thank everyone who posted their concerns and even advices that would help us with our application. I even read all the comments from last 2010 and got tips from the people who applied for Canada.

I am a Filipina, my partner is now a permanent resident in Alberta who is also a filipina. Yes, we are a lesbian couple and been together for almost 5yrs now. We are on the process of submitting our application for sponsorship. We provided all the proof we could get from Facebook post, pictures, receipts Of all the money she sent here in the Philippines from 2013 until present, letters from our friends and family who were also our witnessed with our Holy union last June 2017, joint bank account, her phone call history, and of course our own letters stating that our relationship is geniune.

I have tried applying for tourist visa last year before she came back for a vacation, unfortunately I got denied due to lack of funds, no travel history and employment because I was with the company I am working now for 4months. We even included the result to our application to prove to IRCC that we did try.

We had our holy union in Cebu last year since this is our best shot to get approve. But still we are concern about these proofs since same sex marriage is never legal in our country.

Our problem is, we were never got the chance to stay in one toof together for more than a month since she has to go back to Canada to work. Will this affect our application? Is there any tips that you could give us to support our application? What are the things that we need to add as a proof to prove our relationship?

Just asking an opinion from you regarding our case if there is a chance of appoval for conjugal partner. Thanks

I am on a same sex relationship (both females) and my GF is in Canada with PR Status. She arrived there 5 years ago (2013) thru Provincial Nominee. We are already in 1 year being together as a couple. I was previously married and divorce is not legal in the Philippines. I also have not filed an annulment as it takes time and even I file for it, still there is no same sex marriage in my country.

My GF and I met online, we are both from the Philippines. Last February of this year, she came home to the Philippines for a month of vacation. We spent time together and I also met her family. She also met my Parents and my 2 kids from previous marriage. After a month, she went back to Canada but her father died so she went back to the Philippines again on March 2018. We do have a joint bank account and my friends and family are willing to have a statutory declaration that our relationship and genuine. We also have a lot of proofs that we are in a conjugal relationship like emails, phone logs, chats, photos together, I am her beneficiary in life insurance etc etc.

I could not live with her as a couple because of reasons beyond our control. I am not divorced and same sex is illegal in our country.

Do you think applying for Conjugal Sponsorship is applicable for us? Can we apply for it as early as now?

Makakatulong sana ako.kaso kakapasa ko lang sa application namin ng gf ko (same sex) nung august 27.so nagaantay papo ako ng results.
