Hi All,

As I am finding it difficult to find someone trusted for mailing address to get our PR delivered, did anyone try these companies? I have seen one called Canadaxa...

Any experiences...

Thx

Hi,

Iam having the same worries & would like to know from people here their advises...

-what is the best way to get our PR received since we are not in Canada by the time PR issued? Putting in mind that we have no relatives or friends around (In Canada) !!

Thanks in advance

Well. It seems its only you and me who had such issue. Has everyone here have relatives or friends in Canada! Amazing!

Unless I find someone, I have to go with one of these companies. As the immigration assumes I'm in Canada once they ship these cards. And I don't think they ship abroad.

Thanks

They don't ship abroad. I do know know the company you mentioned but I have heard of people arranging an address through UPS.

You could also tell immigration when you land that you can not stay this time and to please hold your card. If you are back to stay within 6 months of your landing, you would notify immigration of your address and get the card by mail. If you are back more than 6 months after landing, you would have to send an application form, pay $50 and send new photos in order to get your card.

Thanks león.. but I heard some many stories about immigration un-accepting statements like these. They expect immigrants to move immediately and permanently, while our case (and I assume some others) is to go back home, resign our jobs and sell stuff then come back. You know, the least thing to do is to cause troubles or doubts with immigration officers after very longggggggggggg wait!

Thanks for your advice, and I will go for these companies to be in the safe side.. UPS or Canadaxa or whatever.
