I got this response a week after 3 query. The first 2 went unanswered. Could you pls suggest on this background check? I got PER in Feb and still background checks are going on....

My consultant raised query last night, wants to see how long does it take?

"Thank you for your email.

I can confirm that your baby has been added to your file. Your file is currently undergoing routine background checks we do not have a time frame for when these checks will be completed. No further action is required from you at this time."

It's a good reply that at least they are working on your file. You need to be patient. You will receive MR/Document Request anytime inshaALLAH.

Can anyone help me how much time will it take to get PPR from RIH.

My ECAS states as follows:

The following tables will help you understand the status of your application.

• Application for Permanent Residence Outside Canada
• Application for Permanent Residence in Canada
• Application for Permanent Residence - Federal skilled Worker submitted to Sydney, Nova Scotia

I submitted my file to Sydney, Nova Scotia and it was transferred to LVO. Which link from above three is appropriate to me?
