Dear toothfairy..I feel your pain as I'm in a similar situation as you.. keep wondering what's going on with our case.. except that my lawyer had asked for an update last month and we received a response saying my file is waiting for further review and it will not be for quite some time yet..i just don't know how long the wait is going to be.. coming to two yrs in april this yr since applied...thinking of getting the gcms notes.. but I don't have much information about that procedure.. can only hope for the best n pray in the coming days we'll get a positive response
Thanks Aw910, I'm also thinking of applying GCMS notes by the end of this month , its an easy process btw you can order it through http://www.visafile.info/ or by contacting saadi.salman@gmail.com for only $10 as nekeol advised, another option is through a Canadian citizen if you have a Canadian relative or friend, it would cost them only $5.
can you share the reply you got from LVO ?

Toothfairy I can very well imagine the agony as we all have at some point thought that when will I get the good news.I am no expert but can analyse in comparison to my time line.It took about 16 months from request for updated documents till MR so you gotta wait a bit more and I pray you get mr much sooner. Please don't be down.
Allah will help us all to get to desired destination.Try to get gcms notes.
Aw910, I had asked my consultant to get gcms notes for me and she did without any charge. So ask yours to do it on your behalf.
Much,I do believe when they say that b.ground checks are on.Please get Gcms notes, you'd have a much better picture of whats causing the delay.
please everyone cheer up,its just a delay and not a refusal.Have faith,we all got Allah what more could make us luckier!
say cheese everyone and smile.
Thanks bro , it has been long 22 months since i first applied and 10 months since 2nd line and updated schedule A request, I really never expected to wait this long, i thought i would be getting visas within 2 yrs time frame, its almost 2 yrs now and I'm still waiting for medicals! that's why I'm frustrated and worried. Anyway, we have nothing to do other than waiting until good or bad news would come. Fingers crossed.

Hi toothfairy..the response my lawyer received was " application is awaiting further review. We will contact you again as soon as we are able to, however, you should note this may not be for quite some time yet". you need not take any further action at this time.

Has your consultant received any response yet?

Ask your consultant to get gcms notes for you. They know how to proceed.

Dear woodworker: Plz see my timelines, we've gotten our medicals done on Jan 15, 2014.......does LVO starts B/G checks after they have gotten medicals of applicant OR by the time LVO sends MR, they have already completed B/G checks? Plz share your thoughts.
Hi! Have you received any document request before medical request? Cause they have requested me to provide police certificates, schedule A BG Decliration form and proof of funds documents....

Hi everyone,

I recently (nov, 25 2013) got an email from the London visa office where they asked me to resend a couple of documents along with some forms, which i did a couple of weeks back. Now is this is an indication that the MR is forthcoming ?if yes, then a rough idea on how long before i get it. If not, then what exactly does this represent.

Following were the documents and the forms i was asked to resend.

- IMM0008

- New Schedule A Background/ Declaration forms
- New Additional Family Information forms IMM5406
- Copy of the passport bio- data page
- Updated original police certificates
- Proof of settlement funds

Would really appreciate the replies . cheers.

LVO has sent me a response to the CSE my consultant has sent 2 days back, it's generic though..One thing i noticed MCH has replied this time instead of NMP.

"Background checks are outstanding and these may take several months to complete. We will advise further when in a position to do so.

MCH
Immigration and Medical Services Division
High Commission of Canada
38 Grosvenor Street
London W1K 4AA, United Kingdom
Government of Canada"

Guys.. any thoughts ? ???
