LVO Applicants July 01, 2011 FSW Applicants_MI 3

both omee and meem received 2nd line first and after two weeks both received refusal letter.this was the most prominent incident of our forum. in june there was a monsoon of 2nd line, both applicants received 2nd line and two weeks after received refusal and other applicants received MR after 2 to 3 months.

This is really strange.....NDVO touchwood has not seen anything like this......But I hope that this was the last instance

To be honest, my 2nd line was added on 27 August(almost 3 months) and 47 days since GCMS applied(still haven't recd GCMS)......so even I'm tensed, but directing my energies towards my current work .....though its a bit difficult

A big salute to u LVO guys......if I was in your place I would have freaked out till now.....NDVO mi3 applicants don't have any patience including me

but after one month of 2nd line zero chances of refusal letter because there is no queue so they usually receive refusal within weeks but there is a long queue for MR also other factors like visa quota for the respective country or prefrence of MI1,MI2 AND MI3

I agree 2nd line means eligibilty has been passed.
For -ve eligibilty, the 2nd line must not have been added to ecas in the cases of omee and meem. Am I right?

I ve got 2nd line on 22nd june then got two requests of add docs in Sept n Oct
In sept they askes for updated forms + POF and in Oct they asked for Schedule A form again. If 2nd line means every thing is ok then y i m receiving add docs requests ?

over here all we got is speculations what goes on in visa office is for real
We can never pin point the exact procedure each application is handled differently .

Getting a refusal letter after processing line is an indication that background checks have yielded some negative results. An application can be rejected at any stage.......but after 2nd line, the visa officer needs to follow procedural fairness for refusing an application.

Before 2nd line is added, 2 stages of processing take place after file arrives from CIO.
1.Paper screening notes is usually done by a junior visa officer or staff member of VO. Paper screening notes is basically just to check package again for completeness(though its already done at CIO) and inconsistencies in application while viewing file for first time. Points calculation and any basic concerns for ur application are highlighted and application is prepared to be viewed for senior visa officer.

2.The senior VO will then check ur file again, calculate points once again, deeply scrutinize it based on his/her local knowledge(only if he thinks that the points awarded adequately reflect ur ability to become economically established....the second line would be added).

Once processing line is added, and he/she thinks file is ok, he/she also logs if an interview is waived/required and addln docs/MR to be issued. Also even minor inconsistencies on file are magnified at this level and further bg checks are initiated, hence it takes varying level of time for MR to be issued).

@Shahzad Its good if you receive these addln docs.....nothing to worry......sometimes in GCMS it is visible like below:
"ECU/ECD Plz request updated POF + forms, then Meds +RPRF".......In the case of LVO, you need to be patient which I think you guys know well and have become accustomed....I can only wish and pray for your speedy process

but after one month of 2nd line zero chances of refusal letter because there is no queue so they usually receive refusal within weeks but there is a long queue for MR also other factors like visa quota for the respective country or prefrence of MI1,MI2 AND MI3

i am really sorry to hear about ur predicament. but u r doing the right thing by sending the reconsideration letter. the rule regarding education point is pretty clear. if u have 13 years of primary and secondary education and 2 years diploma after tht u will be awarded 20 points. if 13 years of education is inclusive of two years of diploma u will get 15 points. u will not get points for the bachelors degree which u didnt finish unless some certificate or diploma is awarded for completing half of the course which is the case for majority of the professional course such as accountancy and financial management etc. check with the university or college if any such certificate is awarded for incomplete degree.
i hope tht u get the required points through this mean but i feel tht ur best chance lay with the points for experience. good luck! i know we will be cheering for ur MR very soon.

Totally agree with this, if you did not finish the degree, it does not count unless a diploma is awarded for part completion. Experience will get you over the line, concentrate on this....

Your notes would be somewhat like below:
Group Name would be ECU:File Pending for Officer's review.
Paper screening notes would be present.....points calculation by CIO would be present.

Eligibility would be InProgress
Criminality would be Not Started
Security and Medical would be Not started

there will be a due date in your GCMS notes that's when most probably they will start processing your application

i believe LVO never maintain or rarely maintain due dates.
already got 3 GCMS, never found due date maintained.

may be my VO is extra ordinary slow ???
