Thanks a lot for your concern. Here's a +1 to show my appreciation. I'm seeing the doctor tomorrow. Fantastic people at the Bridge clinic rescheduled my appointment following an email request I sent them earlier today.

Sorry to hear that mate. It's not fair at all. I left a gap in my personal history and they just sent me an email asking me to update it. I remember something similar in case of Rynomil. I think it's your case workers call. I sent the info by email whereas one of our friends from Pakistan was asked to send by courier. I hope your 4 months wait turns out to be lot quicker.

Can anyone plz tell me that wht does it mean by leaving gaps in personal history. I am very confused. All those applicants who have received letter/email to refill the form and explain gaps had already filled those forms with initial application. If they had filled those forms correctly at the time of initial application then how can they make mistake the second time. I mean they are aware that they have to explain all gaps then why would anyone leave gaps deliberately?

Just wanted to know if I had made any mistake which I didn't notice.

Hi guys, it seems like I am left behind of getting that 3rd line.

My medicals reached LVO on Aug 3 c/o Emmanuel, and till now I dont have any update on my ECAS, though I have submitted the ad dox a month later when my Meds were received in LVO, I was told that it wont be the cause of not getting the 3rd line.

I have sent a CSE last week and I was told by JMR that RPRF is on the process and likely MR is pending for review in the Medical Section. Is it possible to send a query to the medical section and ask them regarding the status of my MR? Or will JMR be the one to reply me and tell me the same thing again.

I feel frustrated already as Meds has reached them more than a month now and yet no update on ECAS to have something to hope for again.....

Hello Friends,
Here is my story. Its not very charming.

I went to my DMP early this morning without any appointment. But the doc was very helpful and supportive. She opened the sealed letter straightway. LVO asked for
1. Further chest Xray as they are not too sure one thing. And it has to be one in November'2012 and another one in Feb'2013. They want to compare and make sure that I dont have TB.
2. Sputume Culture Test. My DMP said I cant do this test because I dont produce any cough
3. Providing CXR which is more than 6 months older,

Option 1 & 2 takes longer than 6 months to complete and I dont want to wait that long. I am trying to collect my old CXR which might be very helpful. But i would very lucky if I can manage that.

Another option is to do Mantoux Skin test but VO did not mention this test in the letter. So I sent an email today for seeking their advice whether they accept or not. So fingers crossed. Normally this test takes a week to complete.

By the way my DMP said I definitely dont have TB. Even My whole family and relatives dont carry any TB. I have never seen a TB patient in my life.
Does any one have any idea ? please share. Am I doing the right thing? Does LVO accept Mantous skin test?

Btw. as far as I know, a sputum culture test (your No. 2 request) can be done without any coughing (e.g. the sample can be induced or taken using a tube).

Try to seek advice to qorax, definitely he'll give you a good one regarding this.

I think you might be right about the delay tactics. This doesn't seem to make sense as they are supposed to be reducing the backlog before 2013?

I'm so sorry about your predicament. M.tb is the most Common reason for further medicals so you're not alone. I know that doesn't make any difference to your suffering. Good news is, 99.99% cases referred for further tests are FALSE POSITIVES and eventually granted visa.

If it is some kind of consolation, I think medical gets looked at separately. The results of the medical stuff get matched up to the rest of the application later in the process. For instance, we've been assigned a different file no for contacting the medicals team. Cheer up buddy! You'll be fine and we'll find a way to speed up things.
