Hello Friends,
Here is my story. Its not very charming.

I went to my DMP early this morning without any appointment. But the doc was very helpful and supportive. She opened the sealed letter straightway. LVO asked for
1. Further chest Xray as they are not too sure one thing. And it has to be one in November'2012 and another one in Feb'2013. They want to compare and make sure that I dont have TB.
2. Sputume Culture Test. My DMP said I cant do this test because I dont produce any cough
3. Providing CXR which is more than 6 months older,

Option 1 & 2 takes longer than 6 months to complete and I dont want to wait that long. I am trying to collect my old CXR which might be very helpful. But i would very lucky if I can manage that.

Another option is to do Mantoux Skin test but VO did not mention this test in the letter. So I sent an email today for seeking their advice whether they accept or not. So fingers crossed. Normally this test takes a week to complete.

By the way my DMP said I definitely dont have TB. Even My whole family and relatives dont carry any TB. I have never seen a TB patient in my life.
Does any one have any idea ? please share. Am I doing the right thing? Does LVO accept Mantous skin test?

Sorry to hear about this. Miki is correct, you can do the sputum test even if you don't produce much cough but the doctor might have a reason as to why he would say that. Now, I am very nervous about this news. My mom had TB in 2007(she stays in our home country and is already cleared after a year of medication and CXR. she did sputum test even without much cough though), and I did mention that to my DMP yesterday. Of course, I don't have since we do medical tests here(i'm an expat) every 2 years for renewal of visa and I just had my visa again last sept 2011. I hope that having a relative with TB won't be a problem.

We sent our additional updated forms requested by LVO and it reached them yesterday. Do we get an email for acknowledging that they did receive our docs or we will just wait after a month and send CSE to ask if they received it?

We sent our additional updated forms requested by LVO and it reached them yesterday. The UPS tracking system sent us a notification that it was signed by a certain "Madgeste" and the delivery location was "guard". you will be informed about medical received by 3rd line, not for ad.dox, no need to send cse.

i was asked for updated schedule A forms. i left a few gaps in the earlier form sent with the application. they were not more than 3 months in any case. in the updated schedule A i have corrected this n if i was awaiting result or new job i have written 'awaiting result' or 'at home'. do u think tht i need to inform the VO about the changes made or updated form request does mean tht we correct any error we might have made before.

Hello Friends,
Here is my story. Its not very charming.

I went to my DMP early this morning without any appointment. But the doc was very helpful and supportive. She opened the sealed letter straightway. LVO asked for
1. Further chest Xray as they are not too sure one thing. And it has to be one in November'2012 and another one in Feb'2013. They want to compare and make sure that I dont have TB.
2. Sputume Culture Test. My DMP said I cant do this test because I dont produce any cough
3. Providing CXR which is more than 6 months older,

Option 1 & 2 takes longer than 6 months to complete and I dont want to wait that long. I am trying to collect my old CXR which might be very helpful. But i would very lucky if I can manage that.

Another option is to do Mantoux Skin test but VO did not mention this test in the letter. So I sent an email today for seeking their advice whether they accept or not. So fingers crossed. Normally this test takes a week to complete.

By the way my DMP said I definitely dont have TB. Even My whole family and relatives dont carry any TB. I have never seen a TB patient in my life.
Does any one have any idea ? please share. Am I doing the right thing? Does LVO accept Mantous skin test?

this proof of relationship thing is gettin on my nerves. i have got everything ready without the Birth Certificates which i dont have. but i am dreading sending these documents without it.

no need to inform them about mistakes, fill the gaps using their terminology like unemployed not at home or waiting job
