In October 2011, I submitted my application for permanent residency based on arranged employment. I filed my application through an agent based in Canada.
In January 2012, I recieved an email from Centralized Intake Office in Sydney saying my application has "received a positive final determination of eligibility for processing on the basis of Arranged Employment in Canada" and that it will be forwarded to a visa office for further processing.
I live in UK and had opted for Canadian High Commission in London for the processing.
When I check my application status on the online system of the high commission, it shows that the application is in process and when I click on the detail, it says "your application was recieved October 2011". I have not had any correspondence from the High Commission so far.
I was under the impression that applications with arranged employment are nomally processed within 6 months, but it certainly doesn't seem to be happening in my case.
Can someone please suggest when should I expect to hear from the high commission. Is someone out there in a similiar situation such as mine?
Also, please note I hold an Indian passport.
