Hello Archit,

Exactly same thing happened with my e-case. Our application timelines are different but the address appearing and POBox disappearing timelines are same. I hope it means they are working on our files.

As far as your query is concerned they may refuse to communicate with you as you have appointed a representative. Rare chances are that they may reply. No chances of confusion though.

Go ahead send a message and see what they say...
I have noticed the same thing, some detail of my address is also missing :o

Hi guys :D
I am thinking to send CSE by myself without knowledge of my handicapped lawyer
Is this action may confuse LVO and later they will not send any e mail to my handicapped lawyer and use my e mail for all future correspondences instead of his one ???

Please advise

My time line
Application sent Nov. 2011
file no 03 Feb 2012
address appeared 07 June 2012
P.o.box disappeared 14 June 2012

Dear Archit,

My case is similar to yous. My consultant s absolutely rubbish and was supposed to request update from LVO on beginning of May and until now I've heard nothing from them. Even worse the won't reply to my e-mails or calls so I cannot be sure if they have my new address and contact details or if they have updated LVO with them. Anyway, a couple of days ago I sent a CSE to LVO explaining exactly the same to them and requesting due to the circumstances that they give me some king of update for me to know what to do. I also mentioned to them on that e-mail that if my consultant had failed on the duties to forward info to me I was gonna be sending the form they use to withdraw the consultant from application.
I have not received reply yet but got the generic confirmation of receipt that you get once you send CSE from CIC website. They state in there that it could take up to 28 days so we'll see.

Hope this info can help you.

Regards,

Yolanda

Dear Forum Members,
Please put some light on this query, if someone got PER then it means he has passed the selection criteria ? and only admissibility check remaining for him which will be done at Visa office.

A "decision based on selection criteria" means that an immigration officer:

•has assessed your FSW application against the points grid, and
•has made a decision on whether or not you meet the selection criteria of the program.
Currently, the pass mark is 67 points out of a grid worth 100 points. The grid considers the person's:

•ability in English and/or French
•education
•work experience
•age
•whether they have a job already arranged in Canada (arranged employment), and
•how well they might adapt to living in Canada (which awards points for things like previous work or study in Canada, spouse's education and relatives in Canada).
If your application is successful, you would move to the next phase (i.e. admissibility). At that point you would be checked against health, security and criminality requirements before being allowed to enter Canada.

If you do not score at least 67 on the FSW points grid, your application would be refused and CIC would inform you of the decision.

Today i got refusal letter from LVO based on insufficient points after getting second line in ECAS on 7th June 2012 by mentioning non submission of my spouse master degree although i have sent my spouse orginal transcipt of MBA with initial set of application . they also not given point of my spouse aunt due to insufficient documents where as i have submitted Citizen ship card of my spouse aunt, bio data form of my spouse aunt declaring my spouse mother as sister in 1997 in her PR card application along with affidavits.

Please guide what should i do , should i send reconsideration request with my spouse master degree copy ? will they reconsider ?

I will qualify and get 70 marks i f they will except my spouse qualification

This is very sad news. My second line is also same as yours. But one questions... they mentioned insufficient points,,,,,,,,,,,but what was their score and what was your calculation............. 70-67=3 (how would you claim for 3 points) why didn't you provide the documents top prove that earlier?

Please share whole thing..It would be very helpful.

This is quite worrying as I didn't think the VO's had the right to refuse at this point as the CIO was supposed to have already made to final determination of eligibility.

Omee,

Have you handled this yourself or with an Immigration Agent?

Personally having got so far, I would do an appeal to ascertain as to whether her qualifications were taken in to consideration, and if not why not? Having got to that stage the first checks they completed are usually where the points scoring is checked, maybe something got lost in the file transfer.

Good luck,

Stuart

Yes it is worrying thing.. CIC checked and give us points..........and they send to VO for processing. so why vo refuse on this ground....... doesn't make sense to me.............
