Yes im sure and if PR card does not come to you...... Again you have to apply for some travel documents to local embassy ........it would be more time consuming.........cause Immigration visa is for single entry ......

From my personal experience, your ppr will definitely come. It's just matter of time. If there is any information missing in your file, the file goes in the spinning. And it makes delay . Best of luck .

Are you a EU citizen? If yes, you do not need to apply for temporary resident visa to re-enter Canada, you will just use your passport. I suggest to everybody to wait for PR card first before leaving, because sometimes they request additional photos and do not mail card immediately.

Agree with you. The paperwork would give you a headache just thinking about it. Will get it posted to UK.

JMR is not on strike as i just saw a medical request sent by him on 12th june.

Here I have some update from my side. Yesterday I attended interview in lvo. The interview went very well and the the person was happy with all. Finally he said they are now going to issue me medical which i will have to go through but as I informed them that I had one new born baby which is not added yet in this application and they said than first I will have to add that baby and than they will issue me medical. As soon as I left lvo, I got email for additionl family information new police certificate, pr fee, new born baby form, schedule a background and some other forms request.
Now I am trying to send them all this information asap so that I can go on some other stage but online status os still showing we received your applicaation on ********************* no more line added.
Not sure how far still the destination is?????

They said that they call interview to verify my qualification and job experience. They checked my certificate and asked me about job. The person was very good and he did not let me to get confused or under pressure. He conducted interview in a very polite way and very friendly. At the end they said now they will have to do my background check from uk from uk govt and canada govt do its own background check. further he said that in the meanwhile you start looking your job in canada. I was satisfied but still not complete relax untill all is over.

it has been a hectic long waiting game, hopefully we will hear good news soon...for those who are waiting for MR like me...keep patience, although its hard, I'm afraid this is the only option we have at the moment.

Anyone applying for a visa should anticipate delays and submit their application as far in advance as possible.

Contingency plans are already in place to ensure all offices remain open and are providing at least a minimum level of service. Priority will be placed on urgent humanitarian applications.

CIC continues to closely monitor the situation.

Yes, you have to mention every single trip out of your home country or country of stay. Even if its a trip of 2 days. Wherever you went, which ever country please mention.
