as you are MI2 applicant so your visa officer opened your file on that date for [size=10pt][size=10pt][size=10pt][size=10pt]eligibility if he/she was satisfied then you will receive MR soon if he is not satisfied he may decide for ad. dox or bgc or interview[/size][/size][/size][/size]. so good news is that your application is in real processing

I have been watching u advising many of the forum member which is really appreciate able. would u mind having a look on my case:

Application Filed on 16 Sep 2011 (as mentioned: In process)
Since I got married on Nov 2011, I submitted all my spouse documents to my agent on Jan 2012. As informed to me by my agent that CIC asked for my file update which was sent on 5th of Sep 2012 to CIC. On Jan 2013, they asked me to provide some more additional documents within 60 days. All the required documents were sent on 9th feb 2013 which has been received by CIC. Now it has completely been three months and still I haven't hear any information. Normally how long does it take to be informed by CIC after they receive our updated documents!!! Am really WORRIED ....

Congratulations on getting married.

From my experience, there is no established time frame regarding how long the visa office takes to evaluate the papers you have submitted. That said, you should expect to hear some thing in 3-4 months given the general trend of additional documents review at the LVO.

Take my example: I got married in August 2012. Updated and sent all documents in January 2013. I received my medical requests in March. In this instance, they took only two months to get back. You will find plenty of people who have waited more.

If you are very anxious, you should send them a case specific enquiry.

In my opinion, you have nothing to be worried about. Just hold your nerve. Your time will come.
