may be because they are meant to survive first few days ..or something like that...when one doesnt bothers to go shopping for first few days.. This list also says bring maggi... Lol .
Hi,
I understand that some people would not want to shop during their first days after a long flight. But it is normally a painless experience (apart from spending the money)
Googling the store locations before you arrive in Canada is also a good idea.
Most people in Canada know that 99% of their favourite foods from "home" are available here, yes the prices can be more expensive.
For me, the thought of bringing all that extra weight in my baggage makes no sense. There are more important things to put in my luggage.
I would suggest that the only time it makes sense to bring this stuff, is if someone is moving to a very small town, a long way from a main shopping centre.
Bring maggi indeed
Look a "dot C A" web site...

We also have bees in Canada,

Everyone can make their own choice, but maybe the comments that I provide here will help others avoid the mess that happens when this stuff leaks inside their checked luggage.
Have you seen how bags really get handled when in the "care" of the airlines ?
