Hahaha I agree. This holiday season is getting a little hectic for everybody :P
I have to do lots of cleaning before I travel. I'm getting a little anxious over the end of the world thread as I'm traveling on the 20th haha

I have slumped into a bit of a depression :(

We're trying to get hubby's stuff up to the border so we can just fill in what's in the boxes that way, it costs around 200 bucks. Then I find out it's another 270 to get a recall clearance letter for RIV and MTO for hubby's car. I feel like crying my head off now :'(

I can totally get what you mean. I've been having nightmares about moving my stuff. I think when it comes the time to move, I'll sell my car and I'll get Uhaul or some other company to move my stuff. I daydream of buying a plane ticket and moving with three big bags but that's impossible. It will be expensive but I'm saving a little bit for that day.

By the way, I heard you can get a free clearance letter if you go directly to the owner's site for your car. I haven't tried it but when I was considering moving my car, I was looking into it.

I think it depends on the make of your car. Ours is GM, and, of course, it's the company that went bankrupt. Ugh. We've decided to hold off on sending his stuff up until we have some money and then we'll do that. Gotta focus on the car. We live out in the middle of nowhere so we NEED the car, or else we would totally sell it.

I don't think so because they still live pretty far apart, and the last I heard, she was peeved at him for some reason.
