Moonie, I wouldn't redo the police certificate unless your VO requests it. The last time I checked (which was a really long time ago, so I might be misinformed now) the police certificate is good as long as the certificate is received by CIC within 60 days of the issued date. CIC may or may not request a new one, but I guess it all depends on the VO.
.

Thanks Blueboom. I've just heard of them requesting folks to redo them right before issuing visa if they are expired. I know that with medicals they can extend so hubbie won't be redoing those unless requested. But since the PC is quite inexpensive we thought it wouldn't hurt to send in and be proactive.

Why do you automatically assume it would be ME who would get on your case about it??

And don't worry about the police certificate. They would only ask for a new one if it's been expired for a long while (close to a year) if the original one was clean. But if there were even minor infractions on the first one, they'll definitely ask for a new one. However, I assume Mr. Halfmoon has been behaving himself, so I'm sure his original one will be fine.

Because I've witnessed you calling out a few folks for posting the same thing in different thread!! LOL!!!

His expires next week so we thought by the time they approve and issue the PR visa that the PC would be a hold up since it would be presumably expired.

His record is as clean as a brand new whistle!! ;D

CIC has asked several applicants on Parents sponsorship forum to send new PCC if the ones already submitted are more than 12 months old.

Thanks Rajaji. I guess there isn't really any consistency. This month marks the 12 month from when he got it done.

Hello all...

I agree about joining the gym. There are so many womens only areas or gyms that can help with nerves or the common feeling of looking silly. And lots of classes to try! Im thinking of those spin classes!

Best exercise ever Nevaeha!! And lots of different size and shaped balls to practice and excel with!

Tony and I just joined the YMCA here on financial assistance, THANK GOODNESS. We wouldn't be able to afford it otherwise. He's excited about the pool, I'm excited about the treadmill (yes I love those things) and ZUMBA! I think Tony might be excited for me to show off my Zumba moves once I get the hang of them :P

But I only do that to people that I know for sure are complete momos, OR to one-post-wonder-boys who sign up and then the first thing they do is cross-post their question to 7 different threads, and of course they completely forget where they put them, and they're too clueless to use the "Show new replies to your posts" link at the top left corner of their screen. So then when somebody (like me) answers their question in thread #4, they somehow manage to stumble their way back into thread #2 and ask "Can anybody please answer my question!?", all the while never thinking or knowing how to check threads 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7.
