Lost Work Permit - Leaving Country, Will It Cause An Issue?

Hi,

Long story short, I have misplaced my Open Work Permit. I am not working in Canada and am leaving in a month. Is there any point in trying to get a new copy? Will it cause me any issue at the airport when I am trying to leave?

Hi,

there will be no issue if you are travelling to your home country or in a country fo which you have a valid status.
But, if you want to return to canada, then make sure you get copy of your Open Work Permit, or atleast proof that you have lost it and applied for the copy (like receipt from CIC regarding your application for copy, etc).
