I am on a postgraduate work permit. I travelled home for a short visit, and now I have to go back to Canada to resume work. I did not apply for TRV before leaving. I applied for the TRV while in Nigeria, and it's been more than a month without a response. I need to go back as soon as possible. Is it possible to apply for an ETA instead? Will an ETA guarantee me re-entry into Canada from Nigeria?
