Lost PR card

Hi,

My friend went through some personal issues and her husband took her pr card. He is nowhere to be found yet and he deserted her. The issue has been reported to police. She's planning to leave to India on sunday. So is there anyway that she can apply for PR card from India. Please help.

To return to Canada she needs to apply for a PRTD from India as it is not possible to apply for a PR card from outside Canada. Without a PRTD or PR card she cannot board a flight to Canada so the only other option if she has a US visa is to fly to the US and cross over the US Canada border.
