Lost passport - need to renew PR card...

I have to apply for renewal of my PR card. I lost my passport that holds all the entry/exit stamp details.. I have a new passport issued .. Please advise..
I have my met my residency obligation of 730 days ..

And
has anyone ever been asked by CIC to produce immigration history (i.e. entry/exit stamps) from another country???

When you apply, you just fill out the application form but if you have to pick it up in person, they want to see your passport. A lost passport makes them suspicious. However, there is a new policy to mail out most PR card renewals just like new cards so if you are lucky, yours will be mailed to you and you don't have to show your passport in that case.

BUT - I need to submit photocopies of the entire passport along with my application right?? so how do I do this, if my passport has no stamps on it??
Also - in your expert knowledge, have you ever heard of CIC asking for exit/entry stamps from another country??

I guess they do advise that you copy all pages of your passport. I did not do it when I applied to renew my PR card some 4 years ago but then again, maybe they weren't requiring it then. In that case, write a letter stating that your passport was lost and try to provide some other evidence that you have enough days in Canada.

I have the same case but i have a copy of the lost passport. I mad the copy immediately before i renewed it and lost it.
the problem is they are asking for translation of the stamps which is not in English or French. In the translation section in the guide they are asking for notary stamp.
I can translate the copy but I cannot obtain the notary stamp as I dont have te original.

BTW the passport was lost in the passport office in my country where I renewed the passport.

Any one can help me with an answer if this will affect my renewal application or not?

I have the same situation, how did it go for you . I’m about to apply to renewal my or card . Can you give me more info please ?
