Lost of original Marriage certificate

Hi rupeshhari i have one question I applied for immigration in nov05 from CHC london my case was resfued last year now i have reapplying again but the problem is my original marriage certificate I add my spouse as well now i have the scan copy of my marriage certificate so it is ok becuz in embassy they need photocopy of marriage certificate and the translation version in english. can u advice some thinge many thx

Ali where did you get married?
If it is UK, I am sure you can get another "ORIGINAL".

However, if it is Pakistan , you will definitely require a Notarized Photocopy, which means you still need an Original to get the photocopy you have, notarized. In my opinion, I think you should try and get a replacement Original or at least the original "NIKAH-NAMMA", to avoid any unnecessary delay, questions or call up letter to an interview.

I got married in pakistan yes ur right I have get the replacement of but I am not living in pakistan at da moment so I have to notarized the document from dubai not from pakistan but i dont have the original how can i get the original from pakistan

I don't know. Maybe somebody from Pakistan will and can help you out.

i have the same issue.Lost marriege certificate,but i had a previously attached document by the same magistrate who issued us the certificate. I was told if the document is attached by the same office it is considered as original.

Anyway, I am in US and then i went to Indian consulate and got a marriage certificate based on passport,since my spouse passport has the information they needed to issue a marriage certificate.

I dont know how the CIC will look at it,but things happen to ppl.
