I am happy for u. Could u please give us ur timeline from ppr to decision made to usps activation. Lol. Thank you. I guess mine will be sent back to Canada via regular mail.

I got PPR on April 16,, sent the passport that very day...received by cic next day (april 17)..
got DM on may 10...
usps activation may 14.. (express mail)
waiting today.. to get it delivered..

regular mail can take a little longer ..

Thanks for the info. I just called USPS and i was told that regular mail from LA to Toronto would take 6-10 business days. So lets see how it goes.

Yeah I don't believe that to be honest. Because customs can hold up mail for up to 2 weeks.

I'm so confuse and happy at the same time my lawyer (representative) just told me that he got the letter from Ottawa for my passport request and I have to send my passport . Is this normal coz I got a letter before saying my visa and landing papers will be issued by the Los Angeles office but got the passport request from Ottawa ?

I find that happening more and more. Congrats! You're almost done!

Congrats! It's normal since you're from a visa-required country(US F1 visa). Your case was process in Ottawa as they didn't require interview. They would have sent it to LA if an interview be necessary. Please let us know when you get your passport back from LA. Congratulations again!

We received the date for my husband's interview.
Its on August 14. Do u think they will stamp visa on the same day.
Buffalo used to I think.
We redid our medical in march so it wont be expired.

Good you finally get your interview date.
It's hard to tell with LA. I hope others had interviews there could give you an idea. You'll pass the eligibility once the interview is ok. Just not sure if they do the background check before they pass the eligibility. Best of luck.

m sooo happy to see a shiny visa on my passport...

and I got 2 papers (which are same) and they are COPR

is it with everybody? i mean getting 2 papers ?
