No the date that they put a stamp on it as being received. So the date they said they received it...it says it on ECAS...mine was March 5th that is the date they are to follow

Well the month thing I'll take but I hope they priorities according to the date there are a few in front of us that I'm sure would love to be approved! Hoping that this week we will see a lot of movement!

I do too. But considering we're one of the first to be in Ottawa, goodness knows!

Any good news from anyone? I posted on the Buffalo thread that I finally went into process so thats about all the news I got. But they didnt update whether or not they received my medicals so now Im wondering if they received them.

I really can't wait to have this all over with! I just purchased medical insurance for my husband as we had a close call 2 days ago and i do not feel like having another debt! it's cheaper to buy it from Canada! No deductible and for 4 months I hope that is enough ( i figured 1 month until PPR than 3 month wait for medicare card)Than he goes on government and my work insurance so thats good!

No deductible up to 50000$ accidental starts today and sickness we have to wait 48hours... but i feel relieved now!!! I will get all the details today! Chiropractor and others are covered if anything happens with maximums I am pretty pleased!

So who is being contacted by VO for PPR? People from January 2012 end or February 2012 first week?

I sent my application on March 31, 2012 and it was received on April 4, 2012. So any idea when I will be contacted for PPR?

Well there is the rest of february and all of march left to received PPR, everyone will update once we get news we are the first bunch to go through Ottawa so who knows how long it takes

Hm. My parents are with Manulife, maybe I'll check into it haha. I had travel insurance with Allstate, but my parents bought that for me when I was supposed to visit Hubby back in 2010. (obviously it's expired now haha) But thanks for the tip! I hope your hubby is feeling better!

I wouldn't like the idea of having to pay for them again... but I might just get the medical done again anyway. I mean, at this point you will probably have to anyway since they only last so long anyway.

Online is just says in process but it's said that since last year and the MP filed something about the lost medical but Ottawa's response was "we have four months to post it" so because the 4 months doesn't end until the first week of September they wont ever tell us if they've found it yet. I really can't afford to do another medical exam, since this process started in 2011 I've had 3 medicals done.
I guess all I can do is wait...and wait...and wait haha

Ya we agents from quebec don't have the same licenses as other provinces...but they required the medical insurance at the border...they didn't want him to be a burden on society...i talked my way out of it but after all this i got scared....on average it 5-8K for a couple of days in hospital...i paid 330.75 i think it's worth it!

Have you ordered your GCMS notes? That will tell you if they have received your medicals or not. It does take 30 days to find out, but I just submit a new request every 30 days, so about once a month I get the status as of a month ago.
