Hello,

I found loophole for students who got approve after March 18. In the website, it says "directly coming from US" and it does not say that you should be US citizen so any international student transpassing from US should be accepted at land border. I saw one thread in this website approve my idea. Have nice trip ☺

have a backup plan and extra money. see the news they refused so many usa citizens too. and if cbsa refuse you once good look trying to enter 2nd time. personally i find it very risky

Keep in mind "directly coming from the US" means you need to have been in the US for at least two weeks. You can't fly into JFK and take the first bus up to Niagara Falls.

There is a case of a guy who made a trip from HK to Seattle and then to canadian border on car. And it was fine, but it depends on the officer who is making your decision
