Good day, my Live in caregiver work permit expired in 2020 and I am looking for pathways or avenues to renew it then apply for PR?

I have no status, I applied to renew it but was told the program was closed

So you mean you are out of status since 2020?

In that case restoring your status back to a caregiver work permit isn't going to be possible from within Canada. You've been here far too long without status unfortunately.

Without status in Canada, your options are generally very limited.

You could look into applying for PR under H&C. If you go this route, the outcome is uncertain and it will be a while before you can potentially qualify for a work permit.

There's no certain path for you.

I applied last April 2021, HCCP PATHWAY.
I am already done with biometrics. I am from Philippines with one dependent.

I am planning to file for annulment here in the Philippines. Is it ok to file for an annulment eventhough I have an on going application? Is there a chance that it could affect my application?
When I applied my status is legally separated since were not living in the same roof for 5 years. And I am using his surname in my papers, passports etc.

my friend had the same issue before, she also put legally separated as her status when she applied, however, since she didnt give any proof that they are separated (they are not annulled), the immigration asked for any proof that they are no longer together. She just filed for a divorce here in canada as she was inside applicant

i just want to ask.. im working as a caregiver but for the last 3years,i dont have legal status due to the law in the country which is crazy to find someone who could give me legal status.. is it still possible for me to apply in canada even if i dont have legal status but still working as a caregiver.

Do youo have a job offer? Are your working in your current country illegally? If so, you can’t claim illegal work experience?

i don’t have job offer..hopefully i can find work but that’s the thing that i don’t have legal status.. i would like to ask if still possible for me to apply in canada even if i dont have legal status?
