"This is recent, they only made this change 2 weeks ago. If they have a blockage caused by Quebec they should have just told me, instead they said nothing of Quebec even when I asked about it, and said just wait for 2 more months. They have been driving me insane with their lies and low-effort generic template copy-paste responses."

Yeah, I'm sure immigration has nothing better to do with their time than phone every applicant with a personalized update....that'll improve processing time, I'm sure.

ir is it just your application that needs special attention?
Well now, you can add my name to the mix as well. They initially had my docs AUG. 5th, 2022, so the two year anniversary is tomorrow. The issue I have with the IRCC is the lack of information available; when my application went from IRCC office #2 to #3 7 months went by without a word, and according to the website link everything was in order, just said In Progress. Then they ask for additional docs that were provided and supposedly there is one outstanding item a security check on one individual; how the hell does this take 3-4 months to finish? My MP is assisting but there are limitations to what they can find out, for ex. who exactly is doing this security check. This was an Inland sponsorship application from BC.

Don’t worry about my pockets, and keep sniffing in my history. If you have no useful information to say, then take your advice and stop commenting. No one is forcing you to comment
Whatever

And I’ll sniff away

No one is forcing me , but you can’t stop anyone
Least I got a rise out of you
Mission accomplished

MP will not do anything worthwhile.

Sue them, my eligibility was pending for 2 years until I sued for Mandamus.

Stop spreading misinformation, the following can be seen in bullet 7 in Canada immigration plan, ofc they took it out in the estimated processing time:

‘Under the Canada-Quebec Accord, Quebec has full responsibility for the selection of immigrants destined to Quebec, with the exception of the family class and protected persons. Quebec also tables its immigration plan at the National Assembly of Quebec on or before November 1 each year (or within 15 days of the resumption of work following an election). Estimated admissions targets for Quebec’s economic programs used to calculate overall economic targets in the federal plan are 37,990 in 2024; 34,500 in 2025; and 35,500 in 2026.’

Whoever tells you it’s because of the Accord, they are lying to you. There is nothing in the Accord that mentions protected persons and family reunifications. In which the latter Mac Miller already ignored Quebec limit quota.

Regarding your other retarded comment, they have obligation and duty to do, lying about the timeline isn’t a behaviour of government entities and public servants. That’s probably something your stupid brain cannot comprehend.
Yes there is. While Québec cannot « select » protected persons and family members it can « recommend » the total number of admissions. A recommendation which IRCC normally follows. Aka MIFI can’t say no and they will give you a CSQ but ut is up to them to figure out how many CSQs are to be rolled over into permanent residency. The Québec immigration levels plan explicitly mentions protected persons as les réfugiés sur place, and does allocate a cap that IRCC choses to comply with.
Effectively the sane stuff as with family reunification where Québec can’t rely refuse a CSQ but MIFI can lower the cap to the point that the whole system breaks down.
Our only recourse is to launch a class action lawsuit against MIFI for artificially lowering the admissions quota.
Same shit as family reunification. And if their story is of any indication, Québec can’t really be forced to go much. Since while they can’t determine specific conditions for our admission class they can indeed determine a quota that IRCC would normally comply with.
