In the past, people had suggested safehomestay.com and craiglist. You might also want to stay in a hotel first before you make any confirmation for a more permanent home. Good luck!

I will be landing in brampton initially at relatives house and then later on will change. We will be staying in toronto for 3 weeks and visit few places

What are the places to visit for family.....?

What are the places to visit for family.....?

Canada's wonderland, zoo, downtown Toronto (CN Tower and Eaton Centre), Niagara Falls (it's a must-see for tourist), Toronto Botanical gardens and skiing in Barrie

Once in Toronto, you can also arrange local bus tours for trips to Kingston, Ottawa, Montreal and Quebec City.

Im currently staying in safehomestay, you can check their website.

As we are doing some research on housing (rental), some info might help you:

1. We are finding it easy to get house in Etobicoke (11km from Airport & 10km from Toronto downtown) avg 2-bed rent is CAD$800-950 per month +- hydro
2. You need to have SIN # before the contract; the contract term is 12 months minimum
3. You have to present credit cheque, hence you have to open a bank account to get cheque book
4. If you have kids, then the landlord would be extra careful, so manage this too
5. Your Canadian relatives could be your guarantor for your house renting, if needed by few landlords, as you dont have any credit history till now
6. Be careful for basement apartments rented by Asian; as they are too cold (so extra heating, hence extra Electricity bill) plus no separatance entrance for you hence Asian landlord would be too much in your personal life, so be careful

Beside www.kijiji.ca we found www.gottarent.com good site; 2-bed apartment for $940 pm in Etobicoke.

NN74, we will be coming only for 3 weeks and visit the places and return back at end of august.
