Hey all

It seems that it has been a while since anyone mentioned receiving their passports back from London Office. Over 3 weeks since they got all the documents for stamping visa here but nothing so far. I have been checking the return envelope tracking number so far but nothing at all.

Anyone knows about any applicants who got their passports from London recently?

LVO is taking so much time to send PPR to applicant who have completed their medicals in April or even before that...... do you guys suggest to initiate a CSI to inquire about the case status.... or we should sit back and hold tight ??

wait. CSI is getting the same heart breaking reply, BG checks are currently in process for your application. We will contact you again as soon we are able to do so.

wait for atleast 4 months from the date of medicals submission for sending any inquiries VO's way....your bfd is 4 months after they issued your medicals.......thats the time they will look at your medicals and put in the next processing step required which is passport request....but that is only sent when they get a go a go ahead from program manager based on visa quotas/targets to achieve at hand...

Hi I am new to this thread, I sent all my documents to LVO four weeks ago and I still haven't received my visa yet. They did say in the letter however that if you hadn't heard from them by six weeks to contact them after that, so I assume you should get it within 6 weeks.

The quota's are issued in start of the year i.e JAN or it is JULY ??

Howcome there are applicants who are recving PPR's request whereas few on same dates are not ??

What could be the possible reason of delay?

BG checks take varying time. Forms may be asked meaning more correspondence. Sometimes, they lost certain documents. Need to get update on MR. Travel history may be a reason. Priority of NOC is another reason. There are so many reasons.

Why there is a gap of 4 weeks between PPR1 and PPR2.

The quotas/operational targets are assigned earlier in the year but every quarter the reasses what they have done and how much is left....so these issues plus the delayed security background checks post medicals delay the passport requests.
