Landed in Calgary over 2 months ago.There is absolutely nothing to worry about.Once you have all the necessary paper work and a Canadian address to hand ......you are good to go

Just a random question for anyone......( LOUTH et al): DO I NEED TO WAIT FOR MY CARD BEFORE RETURNING TO THE UK? AS I PLAN TO LAND, GET FORMALITIES DONE, STAY FOR ABOUT 2WEEKS AND RETURN TO THE UK TO RETURN TO CANADA AT A LATTER DATE.

Ideally you should wait but you can travel back to the UK without the PR card and still return to Canada......provided you hold a visa exempt passport or obtain a temporary resident visa/permit.Even if you hold a visa exempt passport , it is important NOT to fly the charter airline e.g Airtransat !

I flew back to Ireland and returned to canada 2weeks ago without a pr card or temporary travel document without any problem( i hold a visa exempt passport).

6 weeks; if you're posting from another country. If you're within UK and hand over to them in person, I am not sure but you can collect them within a week

Alright... she told me that come after 2nd thursday.... means after 2 weeks.

I think you need to contact LVO asap. I don't see any reason why you can't do this yourself.
