I received my MR email today from LVO. I have been reading silently through this forum and I would like to thank after ALLAH all the forum mates and wish you all speedy and smooth process.
My timeline:
App Dec: 2014
PER: Feb, 2015
SLU: around August or Sep. 2015
MR: Today

Also, I have been asked to submit PCCs and Bio page of my Passport within30 days.

But I have one issue and I appreciate if you can help, I visited UK on a student visa in 2012 for less than 3 months, yet LVO asked me for UK PCC. I do not know if this a mistake !!!!
Now my question is should I send them back to clarify?? and should I send this as a CSE or as a reply to their email??
Or should I contact the UK embassy and ask for the PCC. I am currently working in UAE.

Please tell me your advice if you came across a similar situation

explain to them but still apply for PCC.

Order GCMS notes and also try to send email to CIC or CIO

Better apply for UK PCC. its simple to apply. You can apply online and upload all the documents. Meanwhile, raise cse and tell the VO that i was in UK for only 3 months and see the reply.

Thank you dimiry for your advice. I did not know that the UK pcc is that simple, I will go for it then.

One question if you do not mind, I see that you have been asked to renew your ppt! why is that ??
my ppt will expire in December 2016, it will be valid for 10 to 11 months after I take the medical. Should I prepare myself for that too??

Today, I received GCMS notes and disappointed to see that my due date for Medicals, Security & Criminality checks is December 2016.

This is way far from now and don't know how much time they will take upto PPR....

Why they will take so much time?
 
I guess the applicants who received an MR request in December , they will get a PPR request in February ... Since, almost the applicants who got an MR request in November are getting the PPR request in January ...
 
In response to my CSE, LVO (DRD) replied yesterday that my file is undergoing routine background checks. Really concerned regarding significant delay in processing of my application since it has been almost 1 year since PER date. No MR yet Sad

Friends I received PPR today. It is two weeks after we did our medicals and one week after ECAS update with medical received line. VO is RIH, I am a Kenyan national and applied from Dubai UAE

Dear follow the instructions given in the PPR email. You can send through VFS or tcs but again check the instruction and follow them

in other words simple or lucky cases will get PPR in that time frame :)
 
Hi Canera2015,

Yes you have to renew you passport. In order to issue visa, ppt shld be valid for atleast 1 year. If ur medical is nearby, renew your passport after medical and intimate ur VO and send a copy. You have to fill information sheet and update ur new ppt number.
