Hi,

I am a Canadian Citizen living in the UK, returning to Canada. I have sponsored my spouse (UK Citizen) and we have just received an email from CIC which states the application is now in its final stage of processing and now he needs to send 2 pictures of himself and 2 of each accompanying family members and the updated information chart "appendix B" to the London Visa Office.

We are a little stuck ...do I need to send 2 pictures of myself? Does he need to add me to the information chart in the spouse section or is it just himself?

Please help!!

Hi,
I have received similar letter today (I am not a Canadian citizen but applied from the UK) and noted the following
"(Note that family members who are entitled to Canadian citizenship must travel on their Canadian passports"

I would suggest to send your photo and include your info in the appendix B but include a cover letter with a note that you are a canadian citizen and will travel with your canadian passport.
If you think sending your photo is a waste of money you could email your VO and ask him/her abt this.

The incidence of tax depends upon your tax residence status. if you are resident say Dubai and you do not have any foreign source income (outside Dubai) then you wont need to pay any tax. So you wont need to pay any tax to Canada for income you are earning in Dubai (as an example) if you are tax resident in Duabi (living in dubai).

I think incidence of Tax applies from the date you start to receive benefits from Govt. for which submission of return is essential, so even if you earn all income outside Canada while your family remains in Canada you are considered as resident and taxed as resident. Correct me if am wrong as initially I was also planning to do as your e.g. but then I anticipated to be paying almost 25% or more of my income in foreign country as tax to Canada.

By the Grace of Allah I am happy to share a miracle that happened today, I got both MR and PPR today itself :D :D :D :D

NOC: 2172
VO: VCM
Application Submitted 02/12/2014
PER 19/02/2015
SLU(appeared on 6/8) 30/07/2015
RPRF&PCC&Chart 25/08/2015
MR&PPR 02/09/2015

After getting MR request and while I was reading the instructions, I got a second email to ignore the previous email as the Medical from my Express Entry application has been used instead and the same email enclosed PPR request.

I was really frustrated by the pattern of processing in LVO so I decided to submit an application under EE but now everything changed.

so please guys never give up and ....Cheers

Alhamdullah .... always ... and forever

Wish you all a speedy process
