LVO has its own pace.. mine was updated after 25 days from PER while mostly it takes after 3 to 4 months with MR or PCC request

I believe in this scenerio, they should transferred load on different VO like NDVO to warsa/colombo

It is useful information and have grounds.

Had any one had a chance to see this report

CIC 2014 Permanent Resident Overseas Operational Targets by Office (please search on google , unable to post a link)

This shows how much application dealt with last year across all offices , that give a good reason why LVO is slow :(

"Decision made" is updated by LVO (primary embassy) meaning that you can expect visa soon but if your visa stamping embassy is Islamabad you can expect your passport be back any time between one month to 40 days as they work on their own pace.

I think you are right. I have seen people getting the decision made status before receiving the PPR. it was just a coincidence or maybe a wish i had in mind :)

Everybody please keep updating the spread sheet for the better interest of all esp. those that await their application processing

Hi Guys,

One of my friend who applied for FSW 2014 have a query with regards to his process:

he applied in October and received PER in DEC and MR/PCC request 2 weeks ago. His wife is pregnant and she couldnt go through X-ray test, and the hospital where they did the medical stated in the letter with regards to his wifes pregnancy. His question is "will LVO put his visa on hold or they will proceed with visa issuance?"

1) If they issue visa, he is planning to go to Toronto and his wife will deliver baby there, so his baby automatically becomes canadian citizen.
2) If LVO put his visa on hold, when the process will restart?
3) If his wife delivers baby in India then how will he add his baby into his application if the visa is not issued? If visa is issued, then will his baby become permanent resident automatically or he will have to sponsor the child?
4) If they make landing as soon as the visa is issued and come back to India and deliver the baby, will the baby becomes permanent resident or they have to sponsor him?

@ All members - Your valuable feedback is much appreciated.

Regards,
Sarvesh

what makes it a more difficult pill to swallow is that I have friends that submitted their application later than me (and mine was late), who now have MR already - Sao Paulo is the office that we should be sending our applications too, they aren't fast, they are RAPID!

Like everyone has said, we have a sitting and waiting game, and me particularly I'm at the back of this queue. On the bright side it gives you time to get all your things sorted out at home in time for the move to Canada should everything go smoothly.
