I also got the decision made update after submitting the passport to the embassy. Is this status linked to the visa processing embassy or the LVO? in other words, does this update indicate the embassy has actually completed processing my visa and i should expect the passports soon?

"Decision made" is updated by LVO (primary embassy) meaning that you can expect visa soon but if your visa stamping embassy is Islamabad you can expect your passport be back any time between one month to 40 days as they work on their own pace.
