I just sent out following documents to LVO:

- Original Police Clearance Certificates from for myself and my wife
- Copies of passport bio pages along with updated information chart / Copy of my new renewed passport
- Copies of Medical Exam fee payment receipt
- Copy of payment of Right to Permanent Residence fee receipt with my UCI and other details on the form

Approximately how long will it take for LVO to come back with some response or update 3rd line?

And approximately how long does LVO take to issue PPR after MR?

Thanks!

Hi,

I've just received an e-mail from the LVO stating that an interview will be required and that they will get back to me once they have determined the date, time and location for the interview. The e-mail is from KKB.

Anyone facing the same situation?

Thanks.

[size=10pt]Hi, If you haven't already, I'll suggest you order GCMS notes ASAP. This will help you understand what they may want to clarify at the interview. There is no cause for alarm since most guys who have already been interviewed can confirm that it was all about job verification.

I'm curious if you received this interview notification as a reply to your email or not, please confirm this?

Sending passports: please send it directly to Abu dhabi visa office. There is no benefit in involving the middle Man.
Receiving passports: they return the passports only by aramex. That is clearly mentioned in the ppr.

I heard, stamping of FSW visa for applications sent from GCC countries is by London VO only. Abudhabi visa office is assigned to issue only visas such as tourist, student, investor etc., but not FSW visa...

Experts may comment on it..

Stamping and processing are different things. Processing of FSW applications for gcc and pakistan happens in London, but for gcc the applicants are directed to send their passports to abu dhabi for visa stamping. Pakistanis may request for their visa to be stamped in islamabad as well. The visa stamping in Abu Dhabi is clearly mentioned in the passport request email:

"Send your passport(s) along with the required documents listed above by courier to the following address:

VPU Processing (LDN)

Immigration Section

Embassy of Canada

10th Floor, West Tower

Abu Dhabi Trade Towers

P.O. Box 6970

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

NOTE: You must include a fully completed Aramex airway bill or a self-addressed C4 or C5 envelope. These must include your complete name, physical address (no PO Box), and phone number (country code + area code + phone number) If you do not write your address CLEARLY on your return airway bill, your passport(s) may be lost in transit. "

Alhamdulilai - I eventually got my PPR2 today after a stressful wait in limbo. Although it seems there was a mix-up somewhere because my VO mentioned that the request has been sent since 12th January. I wish every other applicant a successful process and all the best in life.
congrats :)

Hi friends

i am resident in Qatar , and i am still waiting fr PPR, i saw the following on the website of Canadian embassy in Abu dhabi :

"Important announcement

A new Visa Application Centre (VAC) opened in Doha, Qatar, on October 22, 2014.

All temporary resident applications (visitor visa, study or work permit) may be submitted either online or through the VAC in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Kuwait or Qatar. Permanent resident travel document applications must be submitted through the VAC in the UAE, Kuwait or Qatar."

I checked the web site of this VAC office in Qatar, the passport transmission costs 500 QAR per passport !!

is it possible also to send passports to Abu Dhabi from Qatar , or i must submit it via VAC in Qatar ??

thank you
