I've just received an e-mail from the LVO stating that an interview will be required and that they will get back to me once they have determined the date, time and location for the interview. The e-mail is from KKB.

Anyone facing the same situation?

Have a query. I am in GCC (not UAE) :

For depositing passports:

1) whether can I courier all our passports to my family friend in Abudhabi, for his submission in person at canadian embassy with 2 signed 'Use of authorized representative-IMM5476E'
a. For authorising him to be my un-paid representative henceforth.
b. For cancellation of my paid consultant (engaged while application to CIC)

For collecting passports:

2) Can my family friend (as my new representative), collect in person after stamping OR will these be only sent by Aramex. Which will be faster?

Sending passports: please send it directly to Abu dhabi visa office. There is no benefit in involving the middle Man.
Receiving passports: they return the passports only by aramex. That is clearly mentioned in the ppr.

I sent a CSE to LVO and they replied with generic email that my applicaiton is in queue to be reviewed by the Immigration Officer.

The signature of the sender was:
RIH
Program Assistant


Can anyone confirm if this means that RIH will be my Visa officer or it is just random query response?

I am planing to move to Winnipeg Manitoba on 15th March 2015, I would really appreciate to have contact with some one who has moved to Manitoba recently or is planning to move out there. I would also like to rent a room in Pakistani community areas in Winnipeg before I land there. Any helpful information will be a lot at this time .

I understand that no one at all can check ur current balance , they can only contact the bank to verify that is original document with original stamps and signature, so don't worry and return the money to whoever lend it to u. LOL
