I sent it on 4th, received on 5th by VO, delivered today 21st Feb, almost 16 days

hello buddy. congrats on getting pp back.

how long does it took to get pp back with visa?

I submitted my pp from Karachi on jan 9, they reached isl on jan 10........still I m waiting for return. its 6th week now or 43rd day I can say including holidays. many members (6 to 10) are also awaiting passports.....all of them sent between jan 5 --- jan 15. any idea how and why they are taking that long to sent back pp?

it is almost impossible that lvo requires certain amount of bank balance after Passport request has been sent.

yes it is possible that they contact your bank or crosscheck or verifies your statements or funds before issuing PPR. but once PPR is issued, it never ever happened with anyone. also after sending our passports....many of members including myself...we start to withdraw money from bank in installments.....in order to exchange it in dollars and to make DD to take with us during travel. cos normally it takes around 1 to 2 weeks to get things done with this money matter. hence people start preparing in advance.

so as u start to withdraw cash....naturally ur funds will deplete from your account and then if they asks u to show funds so u cant show that much. its understood by them as well.

looking at ur situation , i must assume my ppr to be somewhere in this year end GOd Forbidd.....
i read in some posts that our VO is one of the most lazy ones.....i hope its not true

Not sure, but I didn't notice any August applicant receive photo re-submission request.

Its more than 3 months now since receiving PER on the 7th-Nov 2014.

Did you guys already submitted CSE to LVO?
I am thinking of sending CSE to know the status of my application.
 
what is the latest date for 1111 applicants to receive MR or 2nd line update from LVO?

Maha be positive
One of our forum friend had exactly similar timeline like mine already received passport request 15 days ago from VCM so we can assume things are moving for us too. It's just all of this take time
Remember u were so worried with ur medical but all went well so this wait will be over soon too and hopefully well before our medical expires
