I received same request. I kept one photo blank while on rest of three, I mentioned all details, i.e., name, dob, date photo taken and phorographer stamp. I think there is no harm in adding photographer details when we are already mentioning personal details. Logically it makes more sense to me.
I also wear prescription glasses but I appeared in photos without those because of two reasons. 1) there shouldn't be any glare on glasses 2) this is how I am appeared on my passport photo.

Yes, I was also thinking to send photo without glasses to avoid any glare issue.

I got my passports today as well. The visa on the passports don't have a photo on them

I resubmitted my photos last week. Received PER on 15 Jan 2015 ...Any idea how long the medicals take?

Does this mean I have qualified for my immigration though? What are the chances of immigration once PER is issued?

PER states that they found you eligible for immigration however actual decision will be taken by the Visa Office which processes your file. The office will re evaluate you and initiate background checks, issue additional docs request , MR etc. The sequence of this is not common, anything can some first, all depends on your visa officer. just relax and do as told by the office whenever you receive any communication

Can they request proof of funds again? I heard that they require a certain bank balance before issuing COPR..is that true?

These predictions are totally wrong dear!

It's almost 5 months since Medicals done n 3rd line updated and more almost two months since PPR1 but no PPR from VCM so far

I'm in almost similar situation with VCM and as per my GCMS notes security and criminality checks hasn't started yet although PCC was received by LVO 4 months ago

It's all depends on VO and case to case.

I submitted MR etc almost 5 months ago and still waiting for PPR.

Technically they may as you.. but at this stage it is very unlikely.. If your original bank statements were strong, then they will not ask you for bank statement again.
