Just to share my time line which can shed some light on how CIC works and in transferring the file to LVO

Application Received: 25/8/2014
Email Sent to inquire about the status of my file: 24/10/2014
PER Received: 11/12/2014.
Reply to my inquiry from CIC Central Intake Office: 15/12/2014 (with the reply: Your file is currently awaiting transfer to the visa office in London)

The reply to my inquiry was after receiving the PER, and it mention that file is awaiting tranfer to LVO, that could be physical transfer of the file, otherwise it will be transferred immediately after PER if it was automatic.

This is my Guess.

obviously this is what I was talking about.

it is not guaranteed that even after receiving PER the file is transferred to LVO. the file can remain with CIO for God knows what ever processing or review are pending on it.

but when 2nd line ECAS is updated, then surely the file (electronic and physical both) are with lvo and processing actually starts on it rather then keeping it for usual reviews or pending delays.

so I guess I wasn't spreading wrong info after all, and was not misguiding the new comers as well......as most members thought on my posts and some even started to show their level!

thanks for the update and info. good luck.

it depends, mine was not verified. this year most of the applicants were not verified but u cant guess it. they can do random checks and can go for any applicant to verify anything.

relax and good luck.
Dear sir, can you please tell the procedure how LVO verifies thexperience letter from employer?

You are obviously getting it wrong and I hope you'd let reason prevail.

Once an application receives PER, it goes into another queue for the dispatch of physical documents to the appropriate visa office for further checks/assessment- At this stage the IN-PROCESS line comes alive on the e-CAS. It takes an average of 2 weeks,AGW for the physical documents to get to the visa office. Please note that after PER,applications (physical documents of the applicants) are forwarded to the local visa office through whatever channel deemed appropriate by CIC. They are not delayed for whatever reason at the CIO of the CIC.

Once it gets to the visa office, the case file goes into another queue and there will be no update until it gets to the turn of the individual's file. Once this file gets to the local visa office immigration officer's table,OFTENTIMES the e-CAS is updated again with "We started processing your application.............." {What you reffered to as 2nd line update) - Note this only happen at the visa office not the CIO.

I would like to advise you to request for your case note in the GCMS for you to understand the process.

Many of us have requested for our case file while we were processing our applications and the GCMS note will give you a detailed analysis of the process involved. Please allow reason to prevail. You are entitled to your opinion but do not lead people astray with half truth in the name of it being your opinion.

I appreciate your doggedness but understand that the process of transferring files from the CIO to the local visa offices is not rocket science. GCMS note will tell you more.

Dears,

I have created an XL sheet that show a %comparison of VO efficiency based on the SS.

Please download it from the following URL:

http://www.filedropper.com/vocomparison

I use it usually to compare LVO with NDVO and you can see who is doing better and on what.

Please consider that this is a personal effort and comes with no warranties.

Please feel free to re-use, re-distribute, re-share or alter it the way you want.

BR,
msibai

please help ;)
i opened the bank account in RBC and deposited the amount in that bank which i declared on the airport for five members of the family. my question is can i send back this money to my home country for an investment? will there be any negative alarm? and how can i transfer that money back to my country?

only one thing need to correct,
After be charged and detailed application information input into the GCMS, At this stage the IN-PROCESS line comes alive on the e-CAS, it is before PER.

Dear All,

I just received email from LVO to fill the updated information chart. Is it PPR1?

Moreover, they have asked for the scan copies of passports of myself and each family member. But they also mentioned that

"the passport we have on file for your spouse will expire at the end of this year. She will require a renewed passport for travel".

The passport of my wife will be expiring in October 2015.

Do we have to apply for the passport and later send the updated information chart with new passport details?

OR

Do we have to send the information details with the old passport and then apply for the new passport?

Can anyone guide me what should I do?

July 9th applicant received PER on 3rd NOV, Waiting for MR and PCC request from LVO. Any July applicants received any request from LVO ? When we can expect InshaAllah....
